Government Polytechnic Kanalichhina was established on 2008 since its establishment, the Institute has played a vital role in providing the technical manpower. The Institute offers Diploma course in Electrical Engineering. Diploma in Electrical Engineering presently running in the institute is affiliated to Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee (UBTER) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
